PEN PAL LETTERS

Our seniors really look forward to hearing from us. This gives them a break from their monotonous routine and a glimpse of the outside world. Many miss their friends and family, and they love to receive letters and notes with interesting snippets from our daily lives. Please volunteer to send letters to the care facilities, even short notes are received with much happiness, and you will be surprised with the number of replies you get. Many seniors also write back with stories of their lives, which are always very riveting. 
The process is as easy as sending a letter to a particular senior, asking questions and telling them about yourself. We deliver these letters weekly on our Sunday nursing home trips.
